As part of our scavenger hunt, we had to find one usable item in a dumpster. Who knew that trash  juice would smell so bad. I guess one year, some kids opened a dumpster and there was a guy inside reading a book. Now we knock first. :-)

There are 18 students, 3 student-staff, and 4 staff. that’s 25. we all ride around in this bus and get lots of attention. i don’t know how the guys maneuver the bus around the city with all the tight corners, traffic, and ridiculously steep hills. not a job I’d ever want.

Seattle and Mount Rainier. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Rainier from almost anywhere in the city (if a building isn’t blocking your view. On my flight to Seattle, everyone was taking pictures like it was a big deal. I had never even heard of it before. It’s beautiful regardless of my ignorance.

so yesterday i went to the doctor to get checked for pneumonia. turns out i just have a cold, a pulled muscle, and pleurisy whatever that means. After some vidadin, icecream, and a good nights sleep, i feel much better. Today I slept in. We went to the locks between some lake and the ocean. pretty cool. some really fat seagulls. Then we played frisbee.

tonight we went to dinner at zoopas. its like cici’s. but crappier.

there are like 200 cheerleaders staying in the same building. they’re between the ages of like 5 and 13. They all wear matching outfits and carry their spirit sticks and are peppy and loud and junk. interesting.

tomorrow we’re painting a hot pink house. hopefully all this tension will blow over by morning. girls are so obnoxious.

i learned how to play Korean rock paper scissors. lots of fun. time for bed.
